Hello All Legion Riders, MC's, RC's, and Friends,
We are not a Gang, We are Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and
Marines that are currently on active duty or have given their
service to the Country in the Armed Forces and are still
serving this great Country of ours. Please read our
Preamble below. Anything you want to know about us is on
this web site, we hide nothing...................
AMERICAN LEGION PREAMBLE
For God and Country we associate ourselves together for the following
purposes: to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States of
America; to maintain law and order; to foster and perpetuate a one
hundred percent Americanism; to preserve the memories and incidents of
our associations in the great wars; to inculcate a sense of individual
obligation to the community, state and nation; to combat the autocracy of
both the classes and the masses; to make right the master of might; to
promote peace and goodwill on earth; to safeguard and transmit to
posterity the principles of justice, freedom and democracy; to consecrate
and sanctify our comradeship by our devotion to mutual helpfulness.
The American Legion Riders Post 223 hold a Social every
Wednesday night beginning at 7:00 PM at 208 South Park St. in
Killeen. Direction to the Legion can be found on the "Contact Us"
page of this web site. At most Socials there is food (Donations) and
the bar is open. We hold our meetings on the 4th Saturday of
each month starting at 1:00 PM and lasting about an hour.
Please come join us at anytime and see what we have to offer and
check out our "Photo" page.
